		<description>You speak the truth.  I think the 10,000 rule is pretty close to valid. You have to put in the time to really have mastery over a topic.  These young people who come on the scene and succeed have usually managed to put in the time in their field.  It reminds me a little of the line from Groundhog Day where Bill Murray&#039;s character says something to the effect of &#039;maybe God isn&#039;t so amazing, maybe he&#039;s just been around long enough that he knows everything.&#039; (I&#039;m certain that is not the exact quote).  I&#039;ve had students ask repeatedly how I know the material so well, and it really boils down to having done it A LOT!</description>
